Be friendly, positive and self-reflective. 

When people cannot see you, and also do not know you, feelings can be hurt if you are not careful in how you express yourself. The old saying, think before you speak is important here. Think before you write/speak. One word of advice is do not respond when you feel angry. Wait. Write it down somewhere and come back to it. When you do, you may find that you no longer feel the same way as you did when you wrote it, because you have had time to reflect about the situation. Last, if you still feel the need to be heard, then edit before you post, and write it in terms that are easily embraced. This is also true when you feel a critique is necessary, say it in a positive tone. Reread what you have written to be sure it is positive.

Use appropriate language when commenting

Do not use slang or even profane words in an online environment, even if they are words you consider, "not so bad," as they will sound offensive to the reader. Do not refer to your trainer or others with derogatory or offensive terms. Also, do not use caps lock when writing. It will insinuate yelling. That would hurt someone's feelings and possibly give him or her the wrong impression of you.

Bullying, trash talking or putting other members down will result in immediate cancellation of membership and classes. You never know what someone is going through so please be respectful.


Copyright Infringement

Videos may not be used for personal gain or profit. All material is copyrighted and/or permission granted in its use. Anyone who breaks this term and condition will result in immediate termination of membership. Any person in violation of Section 501(a) which identifies a copyright infringer as someone who "violates any of the exclusive rights of the copyright owner as provided by sections 106 through 118" of the bill, or who imports copies or phonorecords in violation of section 602.” may be subject to penalty under law.

Health & Safety Waiver/Consent

I understand that Mikey’s Yoga and Fitness Training includes physical movements and as with any physical activity, the risk of injury or other damages (known or unknown) are always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. It is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to my participation in the exercise program. I understand I will receive information and instruction; including verbal and physical for guidance. I am aware I may be physically stretched, adjusted or touched in order to assist and prevent injury for certain exercises and postures; I may at anytime request no physical contact from instructor or deny consent when asked. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation from Mikey’s Yoga and Fitness Training. Exercise/Yoga are not substitutes for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Exercise/Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether or not to practice yoga or engage in physical activity. While engaging in any class or activity operated, organized, arranged or sponsored by Yogi Buddz, My Workout Budd & Michael Budd either on or off their premises, I shall do so at my own risk, and hold Yogi Buddz, My Workout Budd & Michael Budd, its employees, representatives and agents, forever harmless from any and all loss, claim, injury, damage, or liability sustained or incurred by me. I hereby release Yogi Buddz, My Workout Budd/Michael Budd from any and all liability for injuries that are not directly and proximately caused by professional. Yogi Buddz, My Workout Budd/Michael Budd agrees to competent instruction and creating a safe environment for practice. By signing this form, I have read the release and waiver of liability and fully understand its consent. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
